Our Impact

At Jayso Foundation we believe that on-ground interventions and community outreach are the keys to addressing socio-economic issues in society. We have been able to launch several interventions for providing quality education and adequate healthcare to underserved sections of society.

During the last few years, many projects in the domain of education, health and empowerment have been carried out by Jayso Foundation with a vision to provide agency and resources by enhancing skills, promoting efficient health care systems, and improving livelihoods.

We have stressed the importance of considering benchmarks in relation to comparable countries, regions and sectors when making decisions about investment in education and training, as well as evaluating the impact of such policies. For those who allocate resources and efforts to skills development, whether governments, enterprises, individuals, training institutions or others, it is essential to determine the impact of their actions, and to know to what extent objectives have been fulfilled.

Education

Education and skills development are central pillars for the employment of workers. They also improve the employability conditions and the quality of life and contribute to sustainable business development. These purposes are linked to the MDG, particularly those related to reducing poverty.
Skills development is the basis for the competitiveness of economies and enterprises. From a social perspective, they are a tool for fighting against poverty and promoting equal opportunities by means of integrating people in terms of labour, social context and citizenship.

The projects that have been launched at Jayso have an impact on the different domains of society. Jayso worked towards skill development through new-age technology and access to quality education, provided financial support to students from lower socio-economic backgrounds, conducted outreach events to provide support for the programs and assisted and mentored students to create some innovative social impact solutions using emerging technologies. The impact of these interventions was that the students got the platform to learn and got equipped with new-age technologies to embrace and meet the upcoming demands of the technology industry.

Healthcare

Jayso’s health interventions work to improve the access to quality healthcare services for the underserved. By identifying the root causes of healthcare challenges, we work at the individual, community, and systemic levels to develop innovative solutions and help implement quality healthcare services. In recent past years, the whole world was facing a biological demon, that was COVID-19. The overarching goal for all countries was to control COVID-19 by slowing down the transmission of the virus and preventing associated illness and death. In response to COVID-19, every country implemented a comprehensive set of measures, calibrated to the local context and epidemiology of the disease.

In lieu of the pandemic, Jayso Foundation has been proactively engaged in the Covid relief work in various parts of Gujarat. Jayso joined hands with the alumni group of Xaviers Institute, Jamnagar to provide essential food and water to the families of the Covid-19 affected patients. Over the course of the CoVID-19 crisis, the importance of reliable, accessible testing to screen for the disease has become increasingly apparent. Jayso Foundation partnered with Pramukh Imaging Center in Vadodara to arrange CoVID-19 related medical tests for the economically weak CoVID-19 patients and ensured 50% relief in the charges incurred.

The purpose of these interventions was to slow or stop the spread of COVID-19, and to limit any possible harm resulting from these interventions. The interventions are intended to control COVID-19 while seeking to minimize their social and economic impact.

Empowerment

Adults with intellectual challenges have a huge potential to be self-dependent and productive if proper training and platform are structured and systematic. These adults have had life-altering changes in their self-esteem, self-dependence and productivity through systematic and consistent support in the training program. Jayso Foundation, in collaboration with the Mook Badhir Mandal-Deaf Association, honoured specially-abled men and women in a unique way by co-organizing a cricket tournament and celebrating their individuality.
