Since the pandemic has struck, we have been proactively engaged in the Covid relief work in various parts of Gujarat. We collaborated with students, volunteers, and organisations to support the cause and extend our help to various communities.

Covid Relief Work

As the COVID-19 crisis continued to loom over us, The Government of India took strict combat measures by directing a lockdown of the entire nation. In this great hour of need, Jayso Foundation, in close coordination with academic institutions, had stepped up to provide relief by providing food to thousands of people across Jamnagar. By adhering to all safety and hygiene measures, Jayso Foundation began its relief service by providing provide essential food and water to the families of the Covid-19 affected patients. We provided 9726 water bottles, 11300 food packets and 420 kg of fruits to the marginalised and low-income segment of the society comprising of daily wage workers, migrant labourers, construction site workers, and needy people at old age homes and night shelters.

CoVID-19 related medical tests

Over the course of the CoVID-19 crisis, the importance of reliable, accessible testing to screen for the disease has become increasingly apparent. Assessment of the infection can be diagnosed through various medical tests such as Chest X-ray, Blood tests (D-dimer, CRP, CBC, Ferritin, SGPT, RBS, LDH). As India ramped up the CoVID-19 testing, it was evident that the cost of these medical tests was unaffordable for the lower economic section of society. Jayso Foundation partnered with Pramukh Imaging Center in Vadodara to arrange covid related medical tests for patients from the weaker economical section and ensured 50% relief in the charges incurred for COVID tests and treatment.
